About us
Overview
ASJFC have achieved the FA Charter Standard, thereby ensuring a safe,
positive environment in which to play football. All Charter Standard
clubs have FA qualified coaches, medics and all volunteers hold enhanced
CRB clearance.
The club has been established for over 12 years and is thriving with over 160 players in every age group
from 6-16. The Club is run by a Committee who are working hard to
improve facilities, particularly as numbers increase.

Club Ethos
Our club ethos is a written declaration that sets out how we want to run as a club. It’s simple and concise and can be understood by players, parents and officials.
- To provide football to children of all ages and abilities, in a safe and friendly environment.
- To deliver age-appropriate coaching to support long-term player development.
- To encourage all players to try their best and make the most of their abilities.
- To offer a challenging but supportive environment where children can learn from their mistakes without undue pressure and anxiety.
- To promote good behaviour and respect for others.
- To encourage Sportsmanship, Fair Play & Inclusion
Smoke Free Football
ASJFC are proud to support this initiative that promotes healthy play for children, spectators, trainers, parents and visitors. For more information see our Smoke Free Sports Section
Charter Standard
The FA Charter Standard kitemark is awarded to football clubs who provide a high quality football experience. FA Charter Standard clubs are proven to be well run, sustainable, and importantly place child protection, quality coaching and safety paramount.
FA Charter Standard Clubs all feature a trained Welfare Officer, CRB-checked volunteers, Emergency Aid-trained volunteers linked to each team, Respect programme sign-up, a Level One coach for each youth team, appropriate club administration in place and a volunteer co-ordinator
FA Respect Program
ASJFC are proud to support the FA Respect initiative to tackle unacceptable behaviour both on and off the pitch. We actively monitor our behaviour and display signage to encourage others to do the same. For more information see our FA Respect Section
